There is tremendous revival going on in Brazil, with many people accepting Christ as savior over the past years. Please pray that Brazilians will continue to receive Jesus and that Brazil will become a nation that sends out missionaries around the world to help reach the world for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is God — here on earth, in an invisible form. How can we be filled with the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit comes and lives in us when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. We can then ask God to fill us and control us and empower us with His Holy Spirit each and every day. What difference does this make? Without God in your life in the person of the Holy Spirit, you could end up trying to live the Christian life just on your own efforts. With the Holy Spirit in your life, God Himself can live His life through you. This means that God the Holy Spirit can give you His peace, and love, and joy. You can ask Christ to flow through you and give you His attitudes, and replace your sinful thoughts with His presence. Think how amazing this is! We, who are sinful, are forgiven by God through death of Jesus Christ. Then, God Himself will come and fill our lives with His Holy Spirit as we ask Him to!
