We have many resources to help you learn from the Bible if you click here. In this section, the Bible section of www.iChristianLife.com, we have an online Bible so you can read the Bible and search through it on your computer. We have 6 Bible Studies that you can take, one on each of the 6 Keys to Christian growth. And we have a video series by Dorman Followill of 1 to 2 minutes each about each of the books that are in the Bible.

Each week we are looking at one of the 6 Keys to Christian Growth. This week is Key 4 — the Bible.

The Bible is God’s Word. The Bible can be “a lamp for your feet and a light to your path.” God through the Bible can lead you and guide you. You can learn about God through the Bible and how to live a godly life.

The Bible is a book that is inspired by God. There are two main parts to the Bible. The Old Testament tells the story of God’s dealings with mankind, largely the nation of Israel, before Jesus Christ came to earth. The New Testament tells the story of Jesus Christ and His early followers — the first church.

If you have never read the Bible, a great place to start is in the New Testament. There are four gospels in the New Testament — Matthew, Mark, Luke and John — that tell the story of Jesus and His life here on earth. There you will learn about Jesus and His saving love for you — how He lived and died on our planet earth and rose again. It is a great idea to read the Bible every day — for it gives you spiritual food just like you get physical food every day. The Bible is God’s Word and can give you spiritual strength as you read it and learn from it and memorize it and put it into practice in your life every day.

So this week, let us pray that

  • God will teach you how to live a Christian life through His holy Word the Bible
  • God will protect our staff at Global Media Outreach and help us to be filled with His joy and peace and love
  • God will provide financially both for you and your family and also for our ministry

THANK YOU so much for your prayers. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you become part of a worldwide family of true Christians. We are brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.

May God bless you and your family,

Your friends at Global Media Outreach

If you click here you can watch a short video series by Jim Denison about 6 keys to a strong prayer life with God. You can also learn more about prayer at www.iChristianLife.com.

Each week we are focusing on one of 6 Keys to Christian Growth. This week, our topic is prayer.

What is prayer? Prayer is just talking with God and being with Him. As a Christian, you are a child of God and can pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. Just like you would have a conversation with someone you love, you can tell God you love Him. You can praise and worship Him, since He is God. Ask God for forgiveness for any sins you may have committed.

It is also important to listen to Him. While God does not talk to you in a voice you can hear, if you are quiet you can often sense His presence.

And God wants us to ask Him for what is good. You can pray for God’s blessing on your friends and family, and that God would save your loved ones who may not know Jesus Christ.

It is important to spend time with God each day. It can be a good idea to set aside a certain time each day to pray and talk with God; many people find that the first thing in the morning is a good time of day.

Finally, pray in faith. God honors and answers prayer that we pray believing for His will to be done. So, this week, let us pray that

  • God would save your friends and family who may not already be Christians
  • God would help us at Global Media Outreach be protected and full of His love and joy and peace
  • God would provide for us so that we could reach millions with the gospel

We hope you will have a great time each day spending time with God. THANK YOU so much for your prayers!

May God bless you,

Your friends at Global Media Outreach

“So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature...But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:16, 22

You can learn more about the Holy Spirit by clicking here The “New Life” section of www.iChristianLife.com has excellent information about the Holy Spirit and how He can transform your life.

Each week we are looking at one of 6 Keys to Christian Growth. The second key is being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is God — here on earth, in an invisible form. How can we be filled with the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit comes and lives in us when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. We can then ask God to fill us and control us and empower us with His Holy Spirit each and every day.

What difference does this make? Without God in your life in the person of the Holy Spirit, you could end up trying to live the Christian life just on your own efforts. With the Holy Spirit in your life, God Himself can live His life through you. This means that God the Holy Spirit can give you His peace, and love, and joy. You can ask Christ to flow through you and give you His attitudes, and replace your sinful thoughts with His presence.

Think how amazing this is! We, who are sinful, are forgiven by God through death of Jesus Christ. Then, God Himself will come and fill our lives with His Holy Spirit as we ask Him to!

So, this week, can you join us and let’s pray and ask God to

  • Forgive us our sins
  • Fill us and control us with His Holy Spirit each and every day
  • Help our staff at Global Media Outreach always be clean before God and filled with His Holy Spirit

The Spirit filled life is the key to a joyful, victorious Christian life. Thank you so much for your prayers. Let us join together and ask God to shine the light of His love through our lives through the power of His Holy Spirit.

May God bless you,

Your friends at Global Media Outreach

At the "Know God" section of iChristianLife.com, you can learn about God; watch the Jesus Film moveie; listen to the "Discover God" series by the late Dr. Bill Bright; and find out much more about Jesus. This will help you know God better.

There are 6 keys to Christian growth -- Knowing God, the Spirit Filled Life, Prayer, the Bible, Community (Church), and Reaching Out. Each week for the next 6 weeks, we will look at one of these as our prayer focus.

The first and most important is knowing God. The Christian life is not just a bunch of rules -- it is personally knowing God through Jesus Christ our Savior. There is one true God who created the heavens and the earth and who rules over all the universe. His nature is love; He is just and kind and all powerful.

He sent His Son Jesus Christ to this earth so that all who believe in Him as Savior could be forgiven our sins and have the gift of eternal life. If you have sincerely prayed to ask Jesus Christ into your heart and life as Savior and Lord, you are a Christian. This means you are a child of the King!

Once you have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord, you should try to know Him -- and know about Him -- as much as possible. God is now your heavenly Father and He loves you very much!

This week, let us pray that

  • God will draw millions of people around the world to Himself
  • God will help our Global Media Outreach staff team to walk victorious in Him
  • God will help you to know Him more and more

Praise God that we can rejoice in His great love! It is a wonderful privilege to have our sins forgiven and to be called the children of God. Thank you so much for your prayers and for your love for others!

May God bless you,

Your friends at Global Media Outreach
